As we approach the end of another year, we find ourselves reflecting on the challenges and triumphs that have defined the past months. Through it all, one thing remains clear: our shared commitment to creating a brighter, more peaceful future for Essex County’s children.
“Sowing the Seeds of Peace: Healing Hearts: Transforming Lives” underscores the idea that healing is a communal endeavor, involving not only the child but also their families, caregivers, and the wider community. It recognizes that everyone has a role to play in providing the necessary care and support to help these children recover from their traumatic experiences.
Overall, the annual appeal theme eloquently captures the essence of our Center’s mission. It conveys our dedication to building brighter futures for the children we serve, emphasizing the power of collective action and the belief in the potential of every child to heal and thrive. Through our holistic approach and unwavering commitment, Wynona’s House is making a significant impact in the lives of abused and traumatized children, paving the way for a brighter, more hopeful future.
At the heart of this initiative lies a profound belief in the transformative power of unity. Together, we can provide the necessary resources, support, and education to pave the way for a generation that champions peace, understanding, and prosperity.

At Wynona’s House, we promote the heal ing of victims of child abuse by providing a strong community response to investigation, prosecution, treatment and prevention of child abuse.
This is accomplished by providing a safe, child-friendly environment for child abuse investigations and treatment; supporting a multi-disciplinary process toworking with child abuse victims and their families; and working with the community to develop and enhance services to child abuse victims and prevention programs.
