Wynona’s House 5th Annual Conference on Child Maltreatment
Our vision for the 5th Annual Conference on Child Maltreatment is to create a platform to raise awareness of the child abuse and neglect epidemic in our country. Our mission is to educate the community on the multidisciplinary team approach and the innovative and effective best practices of Child Advocacy Centers (CAC’s). The Conference aims to address prevention, investigation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse and neglect. Conference topics would be suitable for medical and mental health professionals, law enforcement professionals, social workers, educators, advocates and child protection workers. Our goal is that our children are supported and no victim is overlooked.

Our mission at Wynona’s House
is to promote justice, hope and healing for child victims of abuse and neglect throughout Essex County by coordinating our response with our partners.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions on social gatherings, we have tentatively rescheduled our 5th Annual Conference. We are keeping a close watch on the pandemic, and its impact on us and the community. We will continue to keep everyone informed of any changes to the event, and look forward to seeing you soon!
